Akron Photo Series

"I've talked a lot about Cause Related Marketing on my blog at Skip's Photo Network and there is a reason for it - I strongly believe in giving back when you can. Well near and dear to my heart is the Akron Children’s Hospital. It is an amazing place, having been actively supporting children’s health for over 120 years! They serve half a million patients each year and they are one of only two pediatric hospitals in the country who operate a burn center for children and adults.

When I started putting this workshop series together, I knew I wanted to find a way for the Akron photography community to be a part of something larger so I contacted the Akron Children's Hospital to find out how we could help. I thought, 'here’s our chance to elevate photography and at the same time help to support a wonderful institution dedicated to helping kids and families.'

So, with every registration to the Akron Photo Series, a percentage will be donated to the Akron Children's Hospital. An investment in your photographic education can help comfort and save the lives of hundreds, perhaps thousands of children and adults brought into the Akron Children's Hospital each year.

For more information on the Akron Photo Series visit www.akronphotoseries.com."
