Speaker Bio

Rodney Getz is a Certified Professional Photographer in South Charleston, Ohio. He has owned a successful high volume photography business for the past 15 years. He is a member of the PPA and a member of the Professional Photographers of Ohio where he is a member of the board of directors. Rodney has received numerous awards over the years including the 2017 Innovation Award at the Sports Photography Summit in Kansas City, 2019 Paying it Forward Award for continued efforts in education in the photography industry and the 2019 Distinguished Service Award from the Professional Photographers of Ohio. Rodney has spoke at such venues as SPAC, SYNC, SYNC Sports, PSU, Shutter Fest, MVP and many more. Prior to his professional photography career, Rodney was a career Firefighter / Paramedic for 22 years before retiring. During his service he was a Certified Fire Instructor, teaching at The Ohio Fire Academy as well as Clark State College. Rodney is married to his wife Shiloh of 16 years. They have three daughters ages 15, 12 and 8.
