PPO is a Community Network Partner!

PPA Community Network Partners are individual professional photography organizations that have chosen to partner with Professional Photographers of America (PPA). Membership in PPA is separate from membership with PPO. 

As a PPA Community Network Partner, PPO provides additional opportunities for our members like:

  • An expanded network: When you join a PPA Community Network like PPO, you'll meet and interact with a host of professionals. They have diverse backgrounds and even more diverse skill-sets. There are affiliates located all over the world, meaning there's no reason not to get involved in your area.

  • Education: One key to the success of any business owner is continued education and PPA Community Networks offer that in spades. Not only will you have the opportunity to learn and grow from your peers, but you'll also be able to earn merits towards PPA degrees!

  • Fellowship: You love being a photographer. Now feel the energy that comes from being surrounded by professionals just as passionate about your craft as you are. As photographers, we often work alone. Getting involved in a PPA Community Network Partner lets you share with your peers the joys, the pains and everything in between that makes our field so unique!

PPA Councilors

PPA is truly a member-owned and member-run organization. PPA members govern the organization through representatives in the PPA Council. Council members are:

  • Nominated and elected every 3 years by members in their state

  • Active members in PPA (Full, Additional Full, Life, or Retired)

  • Charged with representing PPA by attending state and local association meeting

  • Required to attend one annual meeting held at Imaging USA

  • Prepared to handle Association business, which may include Bylaws and Adopted Procedure changes and the election of the PPA Board of Directors and/or its nominating Committee
