We’ve missed you!! Join us for our annual convention - IN PERSON! Woo-hoo! Friday we’ll have a PPA merited class on infant photography with Lindsey Boler of Red Elephant and In the evening, there’s a Drink & Click (Click & Drink? Shoot & Slosh?) and a chance to socialize and catch up, face to face, with your PPO friends. Later, we’ll be hosting our awards ceremony (free appetizers!) all in the beautiful private upstairs space of Combustion Brewery!
All joking aside, we will be following all recommended pandemic regulations and hosting many of our classes outside - which is why our Saturday classes are hosted at a local metro park, The Retreat at Turnberry.
Full registration includes the Drink & Click Friday night, the Awards Ceremony at Combustion, and all classes on Saturday. PPO Members may bring a guest for FREE! Registrants are eligible for a PPA merit for attending all Saturday events (Guests are not eligible for the merit).
Separate registrations are available for the PPA Merited Class, Drink & Click ONLY, and box lunches for Saturday.

Lindsey Boler of Red Elephant Photography will be joining us for a full-day PPA Merited Workshop on newborn photography. Lindsey will walk you through how to turn your hobby or side hustle into a full-time career. After 10 years of business, we will walk you through their path to success discussing the tough lessons learned. Learn how to operate your studio as a professional business. Identify your clientele, design a year-long marketing plan, and create a steady workflow that will set you apart from your competition. Learn how to make a profit by creating a content calendar, goal setting, and creating an ultimate client experience for your newborns and moms that gets everyone talking. And then we will completely customize a newborn session and photograph it. Learning posing, safety, swaddling, lighting, and more! This class will be very interactive and personalized to help each attendee grow their business and their newborn skills!

The Image Intensive

Join Jamie as he unpacks the components to creating strong, unique, genuine images. During this live shoot we will look at the different lighting techniques, blending artificial and natural light, using the sun as out main light and over powering the sun. We will also work on engaging our client to build a level of comfort and a posting system to create genuine and real moments!

Come shoot some wonderful models and build your portfolio! We’ll have models set up in different locations so you’ll have a ton of different opportunities and we’ll have our speakers joining us on both days so you can learn even more than just in the classes.

Joining us during this shoot out will be Ron Hautau, Lindsey Boler and Jamie Boler. Come hang out, eat some delicious foods, and create some portfolio images. This event will be hosted indoors at Combustion Brewery and continuous LED lighting will be provided.
Saturday, July 24
4:30-6pm
Joining us during this shoot out will be Ron Hautau, Phillip & Eileen Blume, and David Beckham. This event will be hosted outdoors (weather permitting) at The Retreat at Turnberry.
