Professional Photographers of Ohio was founded in 1971 with the purpose to advance photography in all its branches, both as an art and as a profession. Our association promotes and fosters a forum to maintain cordial relations and cooperation through education for its members.
We strive to continue the legacy that our founders created while paving the way to the future of the photography industry.
PPO Mission Statement
Professional Photographers of Ohio is here to provide a common ground for photographers to share and grow; to promote professional photography in the state of Ohio, through the pursuit of excellence in craftsmanship and artistry, while following the PPO code of ethics. Our purpose is to provide useful information to both consumers and professional photographers alike.
For professional photographers, we offer the capability to make contact and network with other pros, further your education, and create a venue from which to share and teach others.
For consumers, we offer the ability to selectively find and contact a photographer or vendor within our membership with the needed skills, qualities, and qualifications, to fulfill that person’s needs.
We are part of Professional Photographers of America (PPA) Community Network and we represent the majority of professional photographers in and around the state of Ohio.
