Honoring David Beckham: A Lifetime Member of the Professional Photographers of Ohio

February 4, 2026

The PPO Board recently voted to grant honorary lifetime membership to former PPO President David Beckham.

David’s membership was set to expire this year, but given his extraordinary service to PPO, including guiding the organization through a critical financial period, the Board unanimously agreed his connection to PPO should never end. David has been a mentor, educator, community builder, and advocate for photography throughout Ohio and beyond.

Come join us at the Mansfield Reformatory! This is the location for the filming of the movie “Shawshank Redemption” and others. PPO rents out the entire facility that evening for our group only that evening. Our group receives access to areas not normally open during public tours. Bring your own models to photograph, or follow other photographers around to see how they photograph in the prison. Bring your own lighting of preference and wander around freely, just make sure it’s portable!
