Real Estate Photography: Business Foundations and Hands-On Shooting
Real estate photography is one of the most accessible and consistently in-demand niches in the industry — and in this full-day precon workshop, Suzanne Luttig will show you exactly how to do it well and build a business around it.
The day begins in the classroom, where Suzanne covers the essentials: the gear that gets the job done, a workflow that keeps you efficient, how to price your services competitively, and what it takes to grow a real estate photography business from the ground up. Then you'll take what you've learned out of the classroom and into the Cherry Valley Hotel itself — camera in hand, photographing both private and public spaces to create images you'll actually want in your portfolio.
Suzanne's approach is rooted in storytelling. Rather than simply photographing rooms, she teaches you to follow the natural flow of a property — capturing the spaces and connections that draw viewers in and make them want to experience a place for themselves. You'll work on composition, light, and technique in real conditions, with the kind of hands-on experience you can't get from watching a slide deck.
To keep the instruction meaningful and the shooting unobstructed, class size is intentionally limited — so every attendee gets real guidance and real trigger time. You'll also go home with added value: vendor discounts, a few freebies, and a USB drive loaded with the class presentation for future reference.

Step beyond simply taking photos and learn how to create real estate media that tells the story of a property while building a profitable business. In this hands on class, Suzanne Luttig, Master Photographer, Certified Professional Photographer, real estate media specialist, and REALTOR® with Nebraska Realty and Timeless Nebraska Media shares the techniques, workflows, and business strategies she has developed while working directly in the real estate industry since 2015.
Attendees will learn how to photograph interiors and exteriors with purpose, use composition and lighting to create emotion and connection, and deliver media that helps listings stand out in a competitive market. Topics include camera settings, HDR and flambient techniques, twilight photography, drone integration, floor plans, 360 tours, virtual staging, storytelling composition, and efficient shooting workflows designed for fast turnaround times.
Beyond photography, this course also dives into the business side of real estate media including working with agents, creating upsells, pricing services, branding, social media marketing, AI tools for marketing efficiency, and building long term client relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.
